The new restaurant at Universal Studios is a Willy Wonka-inspired Chocolate Factory!

Do you remember the movie for Willy Wonka and his amazing chocolate fabric? -Just a quick remindер: Built on a book by Roald Dahl, the film tells the story of five children who get a chance to visit the mysterious chocolate factory. After winning a gold ticket lottery organized by Willy Wonka (Johnny Depp) – the owner, they are invited to the factory, which for many years keep its doors closed and nobody knows what’s going on behind them.
Among the rocks of chocolate and cruising along the rivers of chocolate, Charlie (Freddie Highmore) will remain the only endured until the end of a delicious trip and in the end will become a heir of Mr. Wonka.
For the other four children – greedy, insolent and spoiled, the eccentric trip will have a different ending …Willy Wonka
Toothsome Chocolate Factory

Toothsome is said to “transport you into a 19th-century-inspired steampunk chocolate factory. You’ll indulge your appetite amidst towering smoke stacks, funky gadgetry, and staff wearing unique Steampunk fashion”-according to the theme park’s official blog.  So, don’t forget your Golden ticket!

The Chocolate factory won’t serve only desserts, but we are pretty impressed with them. The menu includes deliciously sounding milkshakes like: Bacon Brittle and Espresso Buzzzz, Chocolate x5 and sundaes, oh, the sundaes: “The sundaes are anything but ordinary with flavors like Salted Caramel Flan, Chocolate Brownie Bark and S’mores”-Universal says. There will be also chocolate sauce, marshmallow cream, chocolate ice-cream, and graham crackers.toothsome

Visitors will be able to watch the chocolate magic being made—and choose your very own from the restaurant’s retail shop to take away and enjoy. Quick tip- be careful with the blueberries…

As we said, the restaurant will not only offer sweet treats. From Universal Studios said it will feature “unique twists” on seafood, pasta, steak, sandwiches, burgers, salads and more.
This amazing new attraction is slated to open later this year!!!

We at Nerdy Today can’t wait to visit it!
