The model is manufactured by Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany. It was designed as 4-seats and made its debut as a prototype at the 1963 Frankfurt Motor Show. It was originally named as 901 but Peugeot insisted this was too similar to their models naming convention. The company had to change its name to 911. Equipped with 1.9-liter flat 6-cylinder air-cooled engine, producing 128 horsepower, the 911 reached the speed of 131mph. This is a high performance sports car with extras. After a couple of years, Porsche introduced the more powerful 911S with160-horsepower.
